New photos from a San Luis Obispo street shoot, August 2017. See following pages:
Black and White, Street Scenes, and Assorted Images.
If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by the Morgan Hill Cigar & Wine Shop and see my first solo photo gallery show. Artistic photograph renderings include modern interpretations, along with textures and effects styled after such artists as DaVinci, Renoir, Monet, Cezanne, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh. The Fun Stuff: Digital effect adjustments may include altering paint volume, opacity, brush stroke size & shape, stroke width & length, and adjustments to spill, smudge, and coverage, along with tweaks to hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, vignetting, light direction, and detail. Working with digital photography “in the dark room” will never be the same!

New photos from a shoot at Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa just added to these gallery pages: Black & White, Assorted Images, Places, and Plants & Flowers. This mission, founded in 1772, is unusual in its design in that its combination of belfry and vestibule is found nowhere else among the California missions. The well-maintained mission in downtown is both a popular tourist attraction and an active parish church of the Diocese of Monterey.

Well, I don’t have one, yet. I’m not sure it fits within the guidelines I’ve set for this site. Maybe though, and I’ll ponder it further until the iPhone6 comes out. That promises to have much better photo capabilities than my old 3GS, and could inspire! Here’s a rare clear photo – and one that I like – that I once captured on my 3GS.
